2020 Conference & Expo Cancelled

Given the continued concerns surrounding COVID-19 and the governor’s ban on large group gatherings in California, it is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 American Agents Alliance Conference & Expo, scheduled for September 17–20, 2020 in Palm Desert, CA.

As the largest property and casualty event in the west, this is an incredibly significant conference for our industry. It not only offers countless opportunities for independent agents and industry partners to connect but also provides a major source of revenue for the American Agents Alliance. Regardless, the very clear priority is everyone's health and safety. Therefore, it would be reckless and irresponsible to put profits before people, and that is why we have made the decision to cancel this year's conference.

If you were planning to attend the 2020 Conference & Expo and booked a room at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa under the American Agents Alliance room block, we will be canceling the block in its entirety. If you have booked outside of our room block, you are responsible for canceling your own reservations. You will also need to cancel any other travel plans or accommodations that you made separately and take full responsibility for any associated fees.

Although this is a difficult time for all of us, we remain hopeful as we create alternative plans for our conference attendees and industry partners to connect, share insights, and create a vision for the future that we are building together. Thank you for understanding and supporting our decision — we look forward to seeing you in Palm Desert, September 23–26, 2021, when we can meet again.
