Guy DeCosterd is the Senior Vice president and Field Executive responsible for the Liberty Mutual Commercial lines and Safeco Insurance Personal lines in California and Hawaii. His thirty-three years of experience in the insurance industry has given him the expertise to drive a high-performance culture that delivers results. In short, he is a fix it guy. He has a reputation for challenging the status quo and being successful in many different settings. Whether it was in underwriting, product management, sales, or as region president, Guy’s formula for success remained the same: surrounding himself with the best people and collaborating with co- workers, partners, and agents is his key to deliver the desired results to customers.
He is a California native who grew up in the San Francisco area and graduated from UC Davis. After having the opportunity to live in various places in the US, Guy is excited to return home to California. He lives in San Clemente with his wife and is a proud father to his two college aged daughters.
