Conference COVID-19 Q&A

Review some common questions and answers regarding our COVID-19 conference policy.

Please bring a printed copy of your vaccination card, digital vaccine record, or negative test results and be prepared to provide it at the conference entrance. A digital photo of your vaccination card, digital vaccine record, or negative test results on your phone will also be accepted.

CA state mandates require anyone who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 wears a mask at all times at any indoor venue/location. Regardless of vaccination status, local and state officials strongly recommend that you wear a mask to keep you and those around you safe.

No. You only need to show proof when you initially check in at registration. At that point you will receive a wrist band that must be worn throughout the duration of the conference to verify proof of vaccination or a negative test result.

“Fully vaccinated” means:
– At least two weeks after your second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
– At least two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine

You will need to obtain a negative test within 72 hours prior to first entering the conference.

Only negative COVID-19 molecular (PCR, LAMP, or NAAT) or antigen (POC) test results administered by an official testing center are acceptable according to CA state mandates for Mega Gathering (1,000+ people). Test results must be dated no more than 72 hours prior to conference entry. Antibody tests are not acceptable.

A: The test must have been taken within 72 hours of first entering the conference.

In addition to vaccination and negative test checks by the American Agents Alliance, the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa will be implementing necessary safety precautions in accordance with the state and local health guidelines.

No. The CA state mandate requires all attendees at Mega Events (1000+ people) to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 lab test taken within 72 hours of the event.

No. You must have a negative COVID-19 test from a domestic testing center in order to attend—it must be taken within 72 hours of entry into the conference.
