Have you heard of the word “vlogging?” To be honest, many agency owners are baffled when they hear this word. Is it even a word?
To our agency, yes! Vlogging, also known as “video blogging,” is a new and improved way of blogging on the Internet. I have a good feeling that you are already blogging on your agency’s website, but are you ready to take your efforts a step further?
There are a number of advantages to vlogging. This week, allow me to share a few reasons why you should start vlogging and even offer a few ideas to get you started!
Vlogging creates a stronger connection. It is a much more personal experience when a viewer is seeing YOU and YOUR agents on the screen. Seeing your expressions, hearing your voice… this all makes a big difference versus reading text on a screen. In turn, this will build a stronger connection with clients.
Vlogging allows you to build your brand. A video makes it easier for clients or potential clients to identify with your agency. YOU are in charge or creating an identity for your agency! This is your chance to showcase your professionalism and expertise on the subject.
Vlogging can grow sales. Increased traffic will lead to an increase in sales for your agency. Draw viewers to your site by promoting your vlog on various social media sites. Encourage fans and followers to share the link to your video in order to receive higher traffic and more leads.
Are you ready for your agency to jump on the vlogging bandwagon? Get started with an introductory or welcome video. Introduce a few agents around the office and even show viewers around. Once you have created an introductory video, it is time to get down to business. Each week, answer a FAQ in a short 2-5 minute video. It does not have to be long! You may even be able to answer a FAQ in under a minute. (Minute Mondays, anyone?)
Whatever you choose to do on your vlog, you are sure to see results and gain a following—fast!
